Work Manifesto

Selected Work is the portfolio of   Vitaly Kazanin, a Milan-based   Director of Photography and fashion cinematographer.   The work focuses on luxury fashion and beauty, including fashion films, show films and art films   for international brands such as   Gucci, Onitsuka Tiger,  Blumarine, Fiorucci, Ferrari, Boggi Milano and Curiel.

  Projects range from campaign films and editorial narratives to runway and show storytelling,   as well as brand-driven art films. The cinematography is built around cinematic lighting, controlled contrast and a precise visual language, designed for contemporary fashion communication across digital platforms, social formats and long-form edits.

  Vitaly approaches filmmaking as a craft: a balance of aesthetics, on-set precision and a repeatable workflow. Depending on the project, he shoots on cinema cameras such as RED (including RED Komodo), ARRI systems and Sony cinema cameras, selecting lenses, filtration and lighting to match the narrative, the brand identity and the final delivery.

  Based in Milan and working across Italy and Europe, Vitaly collaborates with directors, producers and creative teams   to shape the look from pre-production to final delivery. Each project is approached with strong exposure discipline, color continuity and an efficient on-set workflow, supporting a clean pipeline from camera to post-production and grading.
